ARC
ARC is one of the most versatile welding techniques we offer, thanks to the fact that it can be readily employed in a variety of applications, using a choice of electrodes. Thanks to the simplicity and portability of equipment, it’s a great choice for on-site welding, and is highly adaptable for use in confined spaces and remote locations. In addition to its versatility and transportability, ARC welding is also highly cost-effective, making it a great choice for a large number of operations.
MIG
MIG is the most commonly-used welding technique in our fabrication workshop, and is performed using a small, continuously fed electrode. It can be used to weld almost any metal, but it is most often associated with the welding of carbon and stainless steel. MIG welding is one of our most popular services we provide, due to its fast and cost-efficient nature, which allows us to provide great value-for-money to our clients.
TIG
TIG welding is a two-handed welding process, involving the production of an arc using a TIG torch, whilst using the other hand to add filler metal to the weld joint. This is an advanced welding technique which is highly versatile across a range of materials, producing a superior quality weld when professionally applied. This is a particularly useful technique for completing highly precise welding operations, such as critical weld joints.
Spot Welding
Spot welding is one of the oldest forms of resistance welding, and is used to join metal parts together without the use of a filler material, using shaped copper electrodes to convey the electrical current through the materials. This technique is often used for welding low carbon steel, but can also be suitable for aluminium welding operations, providing that higher levels of current are used.
